Partner Terms
Effective Date: January 05, 2026
These Partner Terms govern your participation as a rescue partner on Road Rescue Kenya ("RRK").
By signing up, uploading verification documents, accepting dispatches, or using the platform in any way,
you agree to these terms.
You operate as an independent service provider. You are not an employee, agent, or representative of Road Rescue Kenya.
1. Independent Contractor Status
Rescue partners operate independently and remain fully responsible for how they provide services.
- You are not employed by Road Rescue Kenya
- You are responsible for your own vehicle, tools, equipment, licenses, insurance, and operating costs
- You control how the service is delivered, subject to these terms and applicable law
2. Registration and Verification
To join the platform, you must provide accurate and complete information during registration and verification.
- Full name, phone number, and email address
- Vehicle plate number and any other relevant vehicle details
- ID number and ID photo for identity verification
You must keep your information accurate and up to date. False, misleading, or incomplete information may lead to suspension,
rejection of verification, or permanent removal from the platform.
3. Verification and Verified Badge
Road Rescue Kenya may review your submitted documents and may approve, reject, suspend, or revoke verification at any time.
If approved, you may receive a visible Verified Partner badge on customer-facing pages.
- Verification improves trust but does not guarantee jobs, priority dispatches, or minimum earnings
- RRK may request a fresh upload where documents are unclear, inconsistent, expired, or no longer reliable
- The badge remains the property of RRK and may be removed at our discretion
4. Service Responsibilities
As a rescue partner, you agree to provide services safely, lawfully, and professionally.
- Respond to customer requests promptly and honestly
- Use respectful communication during calls, WhatsApp chats, and in-person interactions
- Deliver the agreed service without deception, intimidation, or unnecessary delay
- Use lawful and safe methods when towing, jumpstarting, recovering, transporting, or assisting vehicles
5. Pricing, Payments, and Transparency
You are responsible for clearly communicating your charges to the customer before work begins.
- All prices must be agreed before the service starts
- No hidden charges, unauthorized add-ons, or post-service surprise fees
- You may collect payment directly from the customer where the platform flow allows it
- You remain responsible for any tax, levy, permit, or compliance obligation tied to your business operations
6. Customer Rating and Review System
Road Rescue Kenya may operate a customer feedback and rating system to maintain service quality and trust.
Once an order is marked as complete, the customer may be prompted by email to rate the service and leave a comment.
- Ratings and reviews may influence your visibility, trust level, and future dispatch opportunities
- Repeated poor ratings, verified complaints, or patterns of dissatisfaction may trigger review, warning, suspension, or removal
- RRK may display rating summaries, review counts, or trust signals on relevant platform pages
- You may not manipulate, solicit fake ratings, pressure customers, or interfere with the review process
7. Commission Model and Platform Fees
Road Rescue Kenya may introduce, update, or enforce a commission model, service fee, platform fee, subscription fee,
lead fee, or similar commercial arrangement at any time.
- Fees may be charged per dispatch, per completed order, per payout, or under another communicated structure
- RRK may deduct or collect commission before or after a job, including through M-Pesa or another approved method
- Where commission applies, continued use of the platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated fee model
- Failure to pay applicable platform charges may lead to withheld access, restricted dispatches, suspension, or termination
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Provide false identity, verification, availability, location, or vehicle information
- Overcharge, threaten, exploit, harass, or mislead customers
- Use the platform for fraud, scams, illegal activity, or any dishonest practice
- Impersonate RRK staff or claim to be an employee, owner, or official representative of RRK
- Attempt to manipulate dispatch allocation, customer reviews, verification status, or platform metrics
9. Liability, Risk, and Compliance
You are fully responsible for your own actions, omissions, services, staff, equipment, and outcomes.
- RRK is not liable for damage to vehicles, injury, loss, delay, mechanical failure, towing incidents, road incidents, or customer disputes caused by a partner
- You assume all operational risk associated with the services you provide
- You are responsible for compliance with traffic rules, safety requirements, and all other applicable Kenyan laws
10. Complaints, Disputes, and Arbitration
Where a dispute arises involving a job, payment, complaint, rating, or other platform-related issue, the parties should first
try to resolve the matter amicably and in good faith.
- RRK may review records, messages, ratings, and dispatch details and may assist in resolving disputes at its discretion
- RRK may make temporary account decisions while a complaint is under review in order to protect customers and platform integrity
- If a dispute remains unresolved, the matter may be referred to confidential arbitration in Kenya, unless applicable law requires another path
- These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any arbitration or formal dispute process will be interpreted under Kenyan law
11. Platform Access, Suspension, and Termination
Road Rescue Kenya may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time where necessary to protect users, investigate complaints,
enforce these terms, or manage platform risk.
- Grounds may include poor service, fraud, verification issues, commission non-payment, unsafe conduct, or repeated low ratings
- RRK may remove listings, revoke verification, disable logins, or block access to future dispatches
- Termination of access does not remove obligations that accrued before termination
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Partner Terms from time to time to reflect legal, operational, technical, or business changes.
Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These Partner Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
